Nanortalik Youth Hostel is located in Mathildes Hus which is a lovely old building located next to the museum in the old part of Nanortalik.  

Matildes Hus was built in about 1915 and was used as a house until the early 1960s.

There are two rooms with 8 bunk beds, as well as a living room and a bathroom with shower and an outhouse.

The guesthouse is in a lovely location overlooking the fjord and provides access to the storage depot.
