Travel Trade is the new version of Visit Greenland’s corporate site. We have completely redesigned and rewritten the old site with the aim of making tools and information for industry partners much more accessible and applicable.
Maybe you are a local tour operator or a local accommodation provider, you’re running an event or café, or you’re part of a national company that deals with tourists. Maybe you’re an international agent or an international guide that brings groups to Greenland. For all of these reasons and more, you will have a need for information and tools that are not available on our main site, visitgreenland.com. Travel Trade is there to provide you with these tools, and to act as a community base for tourism professionals with links to Greenland – so that you can share your successes and struggles with each other, and work together towards a more effective and responsible tourism industry.
At the end of this month, the corporate site you know will be closed down completely. So it’s a good idea to get familiar with Travel Trade already, so you don’t miss out on anything during the transition.

Get to grips with the different sections of Travel Trade.
This is similar to the ‘newsletter archive’ section on the old site. Here you can find all of the articles that we have published in our B2B newsletter – you can filter them by category if you already know what you’re looking for. On this page you can also access our ‘Marketplace’ archive (which is where we publish the latest updates from the tourism industry), and subscribe to our B2B newsletter to receive news straight to your inbox every month.
The cruise page gathers all relevant cruise information in one place, with links to the call list, safety information, frequently asked questions from tourists and more. We have also created a brand new cruise destinations page that features an interactive map of all the cruise destinations in Greenland.
The Tools page gives you access to:
Use the Providers page to expand your network by searching for local Greenlandic-based operators as well as international agents who sell Greenland.
This page takes you behind the scenes at Visit Greenland – with information on our history, ownership, strategy and much more. On the contact us page, you can find contact details for our two offices and email addresses for more specific enquiries. If you already know which specific staff member you need to talk to, check out our employees page for direct contact details.
Forum
The brand new Forum is one of the most exciting new aspects of Travel Trade. This is a platform for everyone who is a part of the Greenlandic tourism industry – both local and international – to interact on an equal level. You can start a discussion about an issue you’re having, or contribute to discussions that others have started. You can also share the latest updates from your own business, and keep up to date with news from other organisations in the industry. We expect Forum to be up and running next month, and we will send out information on how to use it once the site is live.
Side Menu
On the side menu, you will find three categories that don’t appear in the top menu. These are: Press and PR, Market Development and MICE.
Press and PR is an important resource for potential journalists, influencers or anyone who wants to be sponsored to travel to Greenland. Market Development tells you about Visit Greenland’s main target markets, our target tourist segments, and the events and collaborations with other organisations that we take part in.
MICE stands for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions, and this is a relatively new aspect of the tourism market in Greenland. There are many reasons why Greenland is the perfect setting for a business event, and this is what we are trying to show the world by pushing Greenland as a unique and memorable MICE destination. On this page, find out more about MICE and about which providers in Greenland are already offering this kind of service.
We hope you find Travel Trade a useful and relevant platform for all of your industry needs. If you have any questions or feedback, we would love to hear from you. Simply send us a message using the ‘Feedback on Forum’ section of Forum, or write to us on b2b@visitgreenland.com.
