Hotel Søma is a small, cozy breakfast hotel owned by the Seamen’s Mission in Denmark.
The hotel is situated by the approach road from Ilulissat Airport and a 10-minute walk from the city center. The hotel has a great view of the Ilulissat Icefjord and the city.
The hotel has 22 double rooms out of which 4 rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor can have extra beds added. All rooms have direct access to the gallery around the hotel and have private toilet/bath, 32” flat screen tv and the possibility of an internet connection. The rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor, are equipped with a refrigerator and two hotplates.
In addition, the hotel has a wonderful penthouse apartment on the 3rd floor with two double beds and the possibility of two extra beds.
On the ground floor one finds the small breakfast cafe that has its own terrace from where one can enjoy the view and a coffee during the summer.
It is a non-smoking hotel. However, smoking is allowed outdoors by the ashtrays.
