Visit Greenland is the national tourist board of Greenland and a government owned agency for the development of tourism in Greenland. We are dedicated to developing and promoting Greenland as an adventure destination through destination development, regional and national branding, innovation and marketing.
We create responsible growth with our partners through focus, shared knowledge and idea development.
The company – formerly known as Greenland Tourism – was founded in 1992 with the aim of developing a viable tourism industry in Greenland. In the first years we offered tourism products and operated a coastal cruise. From 1997 we have been a non-commercial marketing and development agency.
In 2005 the company changed name to Greenland Tourism and Business Council, when we added consultancy to entrepreneurial self-starters and small companies to our focus areas.
By 2012 it was decided that we again exclusively should focus on tourism development. As a result we changed our name to Visit Greenland.
